In this customer’s case, it was necessary to identify the bottlenecks fast and resolve them through automation. Propelo achieved this by bringing together data from multiple DevOps tools, such as Version Control, Issue Tracking, and CI-CD, and ensuring actionability through its no-code, out-of-thebox automation playbooks. To drive effective and contextual actionability through its platform, the company baked in automation alongside the analytics. These issues arose due to frequent escalations from support to development and the time taken for this round-trip. Propelo stepped up to the task and helped them address the problem. While the support team believed the problems were the result of bad code, Propelo's analysis revealed that more often than not, the root cause was a configuration issue, which could easily have been addressed by customer support staff itself with training and better documentation. Thus, saving the developer time and increasing customer satisfaction. Propelo combined the data coming in from three different sources— the support tool from Salesforce, the engineering ticketing system from Jira, and the source code from GitHub. Without Propelo's expertise in combining and analyzing data from multiple sources, the client would have spent significant time and money to evaluate the cause of the problem without reaching a data-led conclusion.
