“The more diverse the client data and systems, the more value we can deliver to them,” says Mehta. “A company having huge legacy data can run our analytics module in the subset of their environment to have deep insights such as the percentage of the data that has remained untouched over the years.” StorageX can be deployed either on a virtual machine or as a hybrid model where enterprises can deploy it partially on the cloud and run UDE (Universal Data Engines) locally. In a hybrid cloud model, for example, clients can store their cold data on the public cloud while keeping active data on-premise. Besides identifying both dark data and orphan data, the customer can monitor, measure, and control the petabyte-scale data project through the GUI.

Recently, Data Dynamics helped one of its clients save multi-million dollars of the operational cost incurred on an annual basis. The client was struggling to move six petabytes of their data to a cloud tier until Data Dynamics stepped in and implemented its StorageX solution.
